SCIENTIFIC CAREERS WITH SCIENTISTS
A majority of PhD scientists leave academia within a few years of their PhD, and have to refocus their hard-earned skills on new types of problems. We proudly support people of a scientific background who are beginning their journey in industry. Indeed, most of our team has followed the same path.

FULL-TIME SCIENCE INTERNSHIP
Are you a master’s or PhD student in the hard sciences looking to apply your analytical skills to real-world problems? Or a similarly qualified, later-career scientist looking to reskill or enter the workforce?
Each quarter we offer one 4-month, full-time internship in Sydney for a scientifically minded problem solver who wants hands-on experience at the intersection of consulting, software development, simulation modelling and data science.
What we’re looking for:
Current PhD OR master’s studies in a hard science (e.g. physics, mathematics, chemistry, engineering or a related quantitative field)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Python
Curiosity and an ability to tackle unfamiliar, complex problems
What you’ll gain:
Real-world consultancy experience solving complex problems
Practical software development skills
Experience in simulation modelling and data science
Exposure to challenging, commercially relevant projects
Location: Sydney
Duration: 4 months, full-time
Compensation: $30,000 + super
